Founded on the conviction that a gentleman's shoe should never be disposable. For over sixteen years, Harrison Bull has championed the 200+ step Goodyear hand welted technique, combining French calfskins with oak-bark pit-tanned soles that can be resoled indefinitely.
Rooted in the Golden Age of Benchmade Craft
In 2010, Master Lastmaker Harrison Bull established his private bespoke workshop with one singular manifesto: reject the ephemeral adhesive shortcuts of modern industrial footwear. While glued shoes degrade within two seasons, a genuine Goodyear hand-welted shoe is built on an architectural spine of vegetable leather and tempered steel.
Every pair begins as a solid block of seasoned hornbeam wood, carved into our signature anatomically contoured lasts. The leather uppers are cut by hand from flawless full-grain French box calf hides, stretched over the wood, and allowed to rest for fourteen full days so the leather fibers memorize their form permanently.
